We specialise the maintenance, replacement and re-calibration of pressure release valves because all pressure relief valves on refrigeration systems need to be visually inspected annually and re-calibrated every five years.
This is required under AS/NZS 3788:2001
We can recalibrate most makes and models of relief valves. We stock replacement parts for the valves to provide a complete reconditioning service.
A test certificate is provided with each recalibrated valve which shows all necessary information. (See sample certificate)
We can prepare a relief valve register upon request. The register keeps track of inspections and calibrations.
All recalibrations and settings are carried out on a test rig using N.A.T.A. calibrated instruments.
Each recalibrated valve is provided with an aluminium valve tag attached to the seal. The tag includes “punchouts” for four years worth of visual inspections.
For your convenience we can provide a changeover service on the popular sizes of recalibrated valves. Once the old valve is returned to us, you will receive a credit subject to the condition of the valve.
